Poster

In 1979, David Salle exhibited his installation piece, The Structure Is In Itself Not Reassuring, at The Kitchen. The piece consisted of two free-standing screens, atop which Salle painted images in watercolor from mass culture. Salle's presentation of images was intended to invite multiple interpretations.
