Voci

Voci is a multimedia performance that celebrates the voice, as well as the cultural and scientific phenomena that surround it. Pamela Z’s “polyphonic mono-opera” layers non-verbal utterances, synthetic sound, and motion triggers via BodySynth software in an interactive atmosphere. In addition to Pamela Z's performance and live electronic processing, Voci features vivid video projections designed by filmmakers Jeanne Finley and John Muse, as well as lighting design by Elaine Buckholtz.
