Froufrou Conclusions

Froufrou Conclusions was the first New York solo exhibition by Houston-based video artist Lauren Kelley. In the exhibition, Kelley premiered the latest installments of an ongoing series of short-stop-animation videos and collages. These works commented on matters of sexuality and race, and explored the gap between well-groomed exteriors and internal disorder, with an emphasis on the use of sound and a set of computer-generated drawings and collages. This exhibition was curated by Rashida Bumbray.
