As If Written In was Sean Raspet’s first solo exhibition at The Kitchen. The installation featured large mesh banners of photographs, everyday objects covered with two-way mirrors and contracts and documents that explored contractual and conceptual loopholes. In addition to the exhibition, an experimental film by Raspet titled 20/20 was shown in The Kitchen’s theater. The exhibition was curated by Matthew Lyons.
