Stefan Rummel
Stefan Rummel is a sound artist whose work consists of site-specific installations, which combine manipulated field recordings and collections of loudspeakers strung together with webs of silicone strings. In his projects building materials and electronic equipment originate miniature communities inhabited by sound. Rummels’s work was included in the group show “Invisible Geographies: New Sounds Art from Germany” at The Kitchen in 2006.
