Sowon Kwon

Sowon Kwon is a New York-based artist, who works in a range of media including sculptural and video installations, digital animation, drawing, artist books, printmaking, and writing. Her work explores portraiture and historical memory, in particular investigating how perception has shifted as technology changes the body’s relationship to self. In 2005, she had a solo exhibition titled Something New at The Kitchen.
