Jose Alvarez

Jose Alvarez creates performances in art and television, radio and stage. He also utilizes video and painting realized with materials imbued with mystical significance including crystal and porcupine quills. His practice is centered on the research of truth—both personal and universal—by interconnecting subjective experience with scientific and spiritual approaches. He had a solo exhibition titled The Visitors, curated by Debra Singer, at The Kitchen in 2006.
