Elodie Pong

Elodie Pong is a visual artist and writer who analyzes of contemporary society by focusing on human relationships and cultural conventions. Until 2004, Pong’s work was concerned with the immediate visualization of sociological concepts like intimacy, friendship, gender, and communication. Her most recent work creates a more sophisticated analysis, which explores the conceptual and psychological while simultaneously operating a deconstruction of these themes. Elodie Pong had a solo show After the Empire at The Kitchen in 2009.
