Starting on June 1, 1982, The Kitchen U.S.A Touring, featuring performances by Glenn Branca, Eric Bogosian, Lisa Fox, Fab Five Freddy & Friends, David Van Tieghem, Oliver Lake & Jump Up, Julia Heyward & T-Venus toured to multiple venues. The first of The Kitchen's national tours, the assembly of artists traveled through Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Iowa City, Detroit, and Toronto in a bus normally reserved for rock bands, a 18-passenger van, and an equipment van.
