Frederic Tuten reading from Van Gogh's Bad Cafe & The Adventures of Mao on the Long March

At The Kitchen in 1997, Frederic Tuten presented a reading from two of his novels. The Adventures of Mao on the Long March was his first novel, published in 1971, and received positive reviews praising his achievement in experimental fiction. Van Gogh's Bad Cafe, his most recent novel at the time, published in 1997, displayed Tuten's attraction to the power of art and beauty.
