Kathryn Greene, known now as Caterina Verde, is a mixed-media artist whose work involves video, installation, performance, drawing, photography, editions as well as 3D objects and light works. Greene began her career, mainly as a painter, in the 1980s, and was an early proponent of using computers to make art. In 1992, Greene and Anney Bonney founded Antenna TV, a twelve episode public access program about the arts. From 1992-1997, Greene was the Performance Art/Hybrid Curator at The Kitchen.
