On November 13, 1982, RE:GENDER (scape), a performance by Bradley Wester with audio design by Bruce Tovsky, took place at The Kitchen. Wester performed as both man and woman, using a live digital delay of his words along with pre-recorded alterations of the pitch and time of his voice. The press release states that the performance was "a visual and aural landscape of dreams about fear and order in the subconscious of gender."
