This energetic music performance opened The Kitchen’s new season of contemporary music for fall 1982. John Cale and Bob Neuwirth presented new pieces, performing both individually and together, accompanied by woodwind player Ruskin Germino. Convergence was the result of the collaboration between the two artists, featuring Cale playing the piano and Neuwirth delivering a monologue on his hostility toward California.
