Okkyung Lee

Lee_Program 3

Presenting a program of new compositions, Korean experimental cellist Okkyung Lee played a body of new work called Gori & Bahndahl, inspired by Samuel Beckett’s “First Love” and Yi Sang’s The Wings. Accompanied by Lori Ortman on violin and Ches Smith on percussion, Lee also provided the visuals and lighting design for the two evenings of music performance.
