Sam Falls is a Los Angeles-based conceptual artist known primarily for his works that explore the relationship between the time-based process of photography and natural phenomenon. He creates in a variety of mediums including sculpture, photography, painting, and performance—often employing multiple processes simultaneously to explore a range of materials and practices. Having cast genre-specificity to the side, Falls’ work spans the visual, physical, sonic, temporal, and the performative aspects of art. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the world, from the LACMA and Ballroom Marfa to the Centre Pompidou, and the Public Art Fund among others. In 2015 Falls presented an exhibition entitled September Spring at The Kitchen that was a collaboration with Hart of Gold and Oldd News. For more information please visit: http://www.samfalls.com/
