On February 21–24, 1980, Thought Movement Motor, featuring dance performances by Charles Moulton, Janna Jensen, and Susan Eschelbach, took place at The Kitchen. Dancing in The Kitchen is a series that began in 1977 as a showcase for new and interesting work which otherwise had lacked a public forum. The series typically hosted one choreographer per month to perform over 3–4 nights.
