Nodal Excitation

Nodal Excitation was a short music program curated by Arnold Dreyblatt. The music ensemble was comprised of three double basses, a midget upright princess piano, a portable pipe organ, a medieval hurdy-gurdy, and a pedal tone box. The instruments were restrung to obtain the desired sound: a resonant texture of a fundamental tone and its natural harmonies. The selection of instruments was meant to create an original cloud of overtones.
