Norman Yonemoto, a Los Angeles artist, created innovative video installations that often appropriated the visual vernacular of Hollywood movies, television, and advertising to challenge the viewer's assumptions about the media. He integrated Japanese and Western culture to create ironic, serious, and satirical pieces. He created the film Spalding Gray's Map of LA with his brother Bruce and it was shown at The Kitchen on November 11, 1984. For more information visit: http://www.bruceyonemoto.com/
